Graffwerk is a multifaceted arts project team comprising of Anthony Overend and Izzy Hoskins. Focused on aerosol art Graffwerk has the aim of redefining the visual landscape of cities through the use of street art. Artist management, educational provision, project management alongside various social improvement activities are among the many services the team offers, the team are also responsible for the award winning Bring The Paint Festival.
Graffwerk is the culmination of years of independent collaborative projects supporting the development of artists and musicians both locally and nationally. We have an aim to continue to open up opportunities whilst inspiring artistic development.
The team behind Graffwerk have genuine grassroots backgrounds in the cultures we support allowing us extensive engagement on a meaningful level.
Graffwerk offers bespoke large-scale murals custom designed to your request. Our ‘graffiti artist for hire’ service includes all aspects of the process including logistics, materials, site surveys alongside liaising with councils and highways where required.
We have an extensive catalogue of work having worked with a variety of corporate, public, and individual clients on projects of all scales. Our professional artist team are of an extremely high standard covering all styles and formats and are available both across the UK and globally.
We offer an array of services including bespoke murals, workshops, live art, illustration, graphic design and event management which can also include provision of music.
Having already collaborated with a number of nationwide organisations on creative led projects we look forward to push forward our portfolio of engagement.
Izzy Hoskins: Company Director
Izzy established Graff HQ in July 2012. Since opening she has focused on seeking legal graffiti areas for artists to establish their craft and open up Leicester as a key city in street art culture.
In 2017 Izzy acted as Festival Director for Bring The Paint festival which showcased local, national and international artists alongside a plethora of activities including music, workshops, skateboarding and child friendly activities.
She has also been directly responsible for the project management of numerous projects involving clients such as Leicester City Council, De Montford University, Leicester Tigers and most recently artistic curation at Leicester City Football Club.
Anthony Overend: Company Director
The premise of KONTAKT has always been to promote generally overlooked music genres and the associated sub cultures to a wide reaching social demographic utilising traditional promotion methods and forward thinking technologies such as social media platforms.
Founded in Leicester during late 2005 by Anthony Overend aka Felis Kontakt the KONTAKT brand has been pushing quality independent bass music and sound system culture for over a decade. Since 2010 KONTAKT has been solely dedicated to promoting UK dub, roots and reggae music and has hosted some legendary events around the Midlands and beyond.
In 2017 Anthony acted as one of the Creative Directors for Bring The Paint festival which showcased local, national and international artists alongside a plethora of activities including music, workshops, skateboarding and child friendly activities.
